Personality: Jaiden isn't a very complex person. He tends to show only one side of himself to strangers and friends alike. Jai isn't the type to have people thinking that he's emotional. He presents himself as tough and tries to be cool, though most of his actions end up rather goofy. He's known to hit on his friends constantly, and means nothing by it, he just finds it funny. He's pretty much just self-serving, and this even fuels his obsession with his appearance. Jaiden will do whatever he can to make his life better, and doesn't care at all about anyone else. Still, he's more than willing to do a favor for a person if he thinks that a person would do the same for him.
It's not that Jaiden is heartless, he just doesn't want to be concerned with other people's problems. They're boring. Most of the time he can't even help people, so he wonders why they bother him with their stupid ranting and whining. He's scared of opening up to people about himself because of how they may react to him, and even though he acts like his opinion is the only one that matters, he really wants the approval of others. He's capable of loving and investing emotion in others, but he doesn't really want to. At this point he sees relationships as a great way to kill time and prevent boredom until something else comes up.
Jai's views death as an inevitability and doesn't plan on living long enough to fear it. He's not suicidal, but he hopes that he can get life over with by age forty. He's secretly afraid of aging, and that leads him to a state of fearlessness concerning everything else. If he's not planning on living long, he may as well live fast, and that means packing as many life experiences as he can into his years. He's the kind of person that wishes there were more people like him just so they could hold a demolition derby on a highway, or something else completely reckless and yet organized. Organized chaos has always appealed to him, and he hopes to create as much of it as possible before he goes.

Parents: Mother - Jacklyn Ritche, 49, Unemployed
Father - Bill Ritche, 54, CEO of an oil company
Siblings: None
Pets: None
Biography: Jaiden was born into a wealthy family. His parents had decided to wait until they had more than enough money to raise him before they conceived him, which led to a happy life for the three of them. He was educated well and was actually one of the smartest kids in his classes during all of elementary and middle school.
In middle school, Jaiden took an interest in fashion. He'd been shopping at high end stores for years, but now he wanted more. Not just that, but after one Halloween he realized that he also loved painting his nails and putting on eyeliner. His father was extremely worried at that point and sent him to a psychologist. This woman told his parents that he was gender confused, which didn't bother him at all. He didn't want to be fixed because there was nothing that was really wrong with him, but his parent's new disapproval led him to rebel and do things to really freak them out. He'd leave the house and find a bridge to jump off of just to see them think that he was trying to kill himself. This became a habit, he loved the feeling of falling, and wanted more.
By age fourteen, Jaiden started getting piercings, another thing that his parents would not tolerate. It was around that time that his only living grandfather became ill. It was over the course of months that this man withered and died, and Jai's parents were devastated. Jai knew death was a part of life and disregarded it easily. All he learned was that people become feeble before they die, and he wanted none of it.
Where most people gained a fear of death, Jaiden had just gained a fear of life. And while he didn't particularly want to die, it had to beat living until he couldn't even feed himself or remember his name. A year and a half later, Jai had realized another thing about himself: he could rot and destroy objects just by touching them. After a little bit of practicing his ability and getting nowhere, he was offered a chance to study abroad in San Juan. The ship naturally crossed through the Bermuda Triangle. He was more than happy to find out that he was about to have a new start with people like him. He doesn't plan on ever seeing his parents again, just because he doesn't see them as a necessary part of his life anymore. He aims to get as good with his power as he possibly can in the short time he plans on spending on Earth.

London hated lying to Alex. This was mostly because he was afraid that she'd literally slaughter him when she found out about his whole double-agency. But there was also the whole matter of just every white lie he told - which wasn't many. How would she react when she found out that he even told a lie at all? She'd probably hang him from the flagpole. She scared him sometimes. He was definitely not a teddy bear. Maybe he was to Alex, but he could be a monster when he wasn't around a person who made him feel as comfortable as Alex. Case and point the teachers here at Waverly. He showed them absolutely no respect, and was happy when they got pissed off. In fact, he'd been making a game of it lately. Not that Alex would care. That kind of statement would probably result in an eye roll and a comment about how good he was, and that he'd never hope to actually be evil. That never ceased to disappoint him. She wanted bad boys, but didn't want to see him as one. It was just sad really. "You are definitely not my frenemy. And since when do we share everything? I want to hear your deepest, darkest secrets. That's what sleepovers are for, right?" London asked. He was hoping he wouldn't be asked to do the same, but he'd probably be honest with her if she was completely honest with him. He wanted something juicy though. If she didn't have some really freaky secret, he wouldn't give her his great and powerful secret of working with Anahi, Seth, and the others. "You're the loser because you just asked your loser friend to feel your leg. Duh." London rolled his eyes.
London laughed. "Alex, I'm not fierce because my clothes are fashionable. My clothes are fashionable because I'm fierce. Ohemgee! We should totally go clothes shopping some time!" he stated, pretty much just to piss her off. He laughed when Alex made a claw with her hand. Her competitive side was definitely scary. She was cute when she was playing a game, but when she really wanted to win it was like something out of a horror movie. She'd probably kill someone if it meant she could win a race or a game. "I think we're lazy in the same way, but you're just lazier," London said, his tongue shot out at her the same way she had always stuck hers out at him. It was pretty much a reflex to do that now, they were like preschoolers sometimes. Now they were preschoolers with beer. London had been known to take hours fussing over every detail of his appearance. He'd make minor adjustments to his outfit, paint his nails, do his hair, and then change anything that didn't fit well enough afterward. He was so lucky that he'd been assigned a roommate like Seth, who legitimately seemed to not care about his obsessive compulsive cosmetic behavior. London had to choose his words carefully when it came to this simple question. Did he like her outfit? Hell yeah! But would that be a great thing to say? He bit his lip before he responded. "Yeah, I love it." London said in a completely serious and sober tone. He never really intended to play with Alex's mind - or anyone's really. It was just a force of habit at this point, and one that he was hoping to kick soon. "Know what? I have to be the most adorable teddy bear in the world then. And you better not turn me in to anyone. But you are gonna play with my hair now to make up for that threat," London said with a grin. He held his head out so that his hair was facing Alex.
London sighed. "You know what? You're right. You are dressed. And I won't bother you about it any more. Alright?" he said, defeated. London was beginning to learn that it was best just not to argue with Alex. She'd never let him win, so he often wondered why he even bothered trying. It just seemed to be a waste of both of their time and energy. And there was almost nothing he'd rather be doing. It was always fun when he met someone he could argue well with, and Alex had to be the best example of that. "Okay, you definitely would love to see me naked. Everyone would. Maybe I'll pose nude and post pictures online one day... Second, I don't use chapstick. I have naturally beautiful non-chapped lips," London puckered his lips for a moment to make a point. "Come on! I promise that I won't hurt you. I'll just make you look even prettier!" He drank the rest of his beer as Alex took a drink of hers. "I thought we were supposed to share everything," he said with a mouth full of cheese-its. It really didn't matter to him that there was even a movie on. He wouldn't have cared either way, but he watched it anyway. After he swallowed, he had to respond to Alex's other comment: "What, don't you love me? I can leave if you want me dead..." he offered, pretty much jokingly. Though he wouldn't leave even if she told him that he had to. He was more likely to try and get her to like him again than to leave and risk losing her forever. She was definitely one of the best friends he'd ever made, and he had to keep that going.
