*Spicy foods
*Assumptions
*Studying
*Mint
*Clingy people
*Irresponsibility
*Being denied what she wants
*The sound of giggling
*Being scolded
Habits/Quirks:
*When playing sports, she has a tendency to "accidentally" hit people with the equipment. Most people just think that she's clumsy, but she actually aims to hurt people.
*She often bites the nail of the middle finger of her right hand or the nail of the pinky or her left hand when trying to think or concentrate.
*If shy or nervous, she bites her lower lip and focuses her gaze on your forehead
*In her sillier moments, she can be found at home, singing to the radio with a hairbrush in hand as if it were a microphone. The most striking thing about those times, however, is that she dances in over-sized T-shirts or sweatshirts and without pants.
*When happy, she also takes pictures of herself using her phone while making weird faces.
*Reeda loves sports, but she tends to get overly competitive even if she tries not to.
*She loves picking fights, simply she enjoys the rush of adrenaline that accompanies them.
Fears:
*Being unneeded
*Being hated by someone she cares for
*Betrayal by someone who knows her weaknesses
*Pregnancy because of a one-night stand
*Hurting someone because she doesn't have great control of her acid secretion
*Being overwhelmed by the spirits of the deceased
Secrets:
*Reeda actually has a hero complex. No matter who it is, as long as she views them as vulnerable, she feels the uncontrollable urge to protect them.
*She's a sap for chivalrous, arrogant guys, but she also loves the needy kind.
*She wants a type of romance from right out of a love story.
Personality: To anyone who hardly knows her, Reeda seems as sweet as sugar. She has a cute smile and is eager to help out. She blushes easily and stammers, which makes people think that she’s shy. She seems eager to compliment other and offer hugs and kind words. Anything that most would consider cuddly or cute appeals to her. She’s almost like a small child. She’s curious and likes to ask questions, often acting as if she were quite naïve and innocent. It oftens makes others feel as if they need to protect her. Reeda acts like a social butterfly that tries to get along with anyone she sees.
The true Reeda is easily hated. She makes snarky comments, and if she gets into a fight, she most likely has to be dragged out kicking, scratching, and biting. She plays dirty and would do anything to win. She’ll use anyone, whether they’re nice or mean, and she has no boundaries to who she’s willing to hurt. Unless the other person is Jinx, then she’ll step all over them and use them to get whatever she wants. Then she’d linger for a moment to laugh at how gullible the person was before walking away. It’s not hard to get her to reveal this side, though she needs to have a reason for acting in such a way.
Because of what she and Jinx went through, they’re extremely close. She’s super protective over Jinx and would kill to make sure that her younger sister stays safe and content. The way she acts makes others think that she’s in love with her sibling, though it’s simply due to the fact that she has a major sister complex.
If you get to know Reeda well enough, you meet who she really is under the fake sweetness and mostly genuine bitchiness. She's a bit of a brat with how she's rather arrogant and over-confident. She has a bit of a hobby to pick fights, and she's often stubborn, though she has a cuddly side every once in a while. All in all, most people would say that this side of her is quite lovable if compared to how cruel she can be.

-- HOW MY WORLD HAS CHANGED WHEN I LOOK AROUND

Father: Robert Nate Dubois (deceased)
Mother: Janice Mariana Dubois (deceased)
Adoptive Father: Nicholas Liam Lionford, age 47, corporate lawyer
Adoptive Mother: Lorena Skye Lionford, age 45, veterinarian
Siblings: Desiree Jezebel Lionford (AKA "Jinx"), age 17, no profession
Pets:
Juliette, age: 9 months, female, dwarf rabbit
Alex, age: 1 year, male, Pomeranian
Biography: Born in Paris, Reeda lived the lap of luxury. Robert was a successful businessman, so he could afford to give his wife and his daughters everything they wanted. Sadly, he and his wife were blinded by their riches. Reeda was often neglected by their parents. Though Jinx was seen as a source of income for their babysitter, Reeda was often showered with affection because of how sweet she acted. She nearly always wanted Jinx to play with her, but her older twin of two minutes would push her away, which caused the two to hate each other.
At age nine, her parents died in a car crash while they were taking a ride to a formal meeting. The fact hit Reeda harder than Jinx, because she was always trying to win over their attention. It never worked, but that never stopped her from trying. Their death destroyed the goal that she always tried so hard to achieve.
She was taken to an orphanage with her twin. She was bullied and picked on, not because she was bratty, but because she was new around the area. During that time, Jinx became her protector, in which she’d snap at anyone who tried to hurt her. In return, Reeda would act sweet towards the workers at the orphanage, and whenever she’d receive praise or small trinkets for her good behavior, she’d share the rewards with Jinx. The two sisters soon grew close and depended on each other for everything. It was from that moment on that the two made and unspoken pact to stick together in order to simply survive in the orphanage. During her stay there, Reeda soon came to realize that acting sweet had its advantages, but towards other kids at the orphanage, acting in such a way made her seem vulnerable. That's when her personality changed more into what it's like now. Sweet to some, she grew increasingly vicious to make sure that she and Jinx would no longer be the target of bullies.
One lucky day, Nicholas and Lorena entered the orphanage with the intent of adopting a child because they wanted to have a small family. They immediately chose Jinx, who was eleven at the time, because of the bruises that covered her body due to the bullying she’d received. It didn’t take much convincing for them to adopt Reeda as well, because the twins were practically inseparable. Besides, neither Nicholas nor Lorena wanted to tear about siblings who were as close as the two.
Though the family never had a lack of money, Nicholas liked to play the lottery every once in a while. When the twins were nearing the age of eleven, he was lucky and won the lottery, so the family decided to move from France to Britain. Despite living a more peaceful life, Reeda remained rather hostile, but the lifestyle had helped her develop a nicer side underneath her act and her dislike of people, and in addition, she developed her sister complex.
When she reached age thirteen, she began to come to the realization that she wasn't just a typical teen. After quite a bit or worrying and researching, she found that she could possibly seek help at the Bermuda Triangle. She was reluctant to leave and wanted to hide her abilities, but in the end, a cruise to the Bermuda Triangle left her stuck at the Tatum Island. Over the years, she's learned more about her acid secretion and mediumship, and she's also learning to control them better. She doesn't like being away from her home in Britain and her adoptive parents, but she does her best to remain cooperative with the rules that the Society has set up. [/ul][/size]

It was an odd sensation, really. Jules tended to smile a lot, but nothing could compare to how she was now. It felt as if she could get slapped, and she’d still have that big smile etched to her face simply because she got to see and hug Matthew. For a brief second, she felt like a long-distance love finally reunited with her significant other. It was ridiculous, seeing as it wasn’t as if he moved out of the state, nor was he her lover. Nonetheless, she wasn’t willing to linger on the thoughts. She always had the tendency to blurt out her thoughts without thinking over her wording, and there was no way that she was about to say, ‘Oh hey, Matty-cake. Isn’t it just weird that I feel like we’re long distance lovers being reunited after, like, forever?’
Any passerby would question her relationship with him, and that was unacceptable. The pair had finally made quite a bit of progress in the grueling task of convincing others that they were simply best friends for life. Truth be told, Jules would’ve been secretly pleased that so many people thought that they were a couple had it been four years ago. There was no denying that she liked him as more than a friend when they first met. Usually, she would’ve blurted out that she wanted to date him, but she had an on-again-off-again boyfriend at the time, and there was no way that she’d go ahead to get herself labeled a cheater. In all honesty, she even had her own little plan. A little playful flirting, gaining his interest, and then just waiting for the right moment to make him hers. Much to her disgruntlement, he had a girlfriend by the time she broke things off with that boyfriend. She spent the time slowly getting close to him, but before she knew it, he fell under the friend category and her plan went to waste, because Matthew Stephenson simply was no longer attainable. The reasoning was simple. Juliette Delacroix would never date friends. Even as a pre-teen, she suffered from the effects of young love.
If one ever looked deeper into the way Juliette’s mind functioned, he or she would realize that there was more to her pursue of ‘the one,’ rather than just a teenage girl who wanted a novel-worthy romance. She needed a man by her side, partially because she wanted to prove to herself that she wouldn’t suffer the fate of Juliet Capulet, though it was more because she needed the one by her side to give her an example of how she was supposed to act. Typical girls didn’t agonize over what types of girlfriends they were. Playful, flirty, shy, awkward. It was only expected that she, of all people, would waste away her time fitting herself into the shell of the type of girl suitable to date her varying boyfriends, though now, they were her ex’s. She constantly carried the burden of being in the dark when it came to who she was supposed to be, so a boyfriend gave her a view of how she was supposed to act. It was possibly the reason why she was so close to Matthew. In the short periods of time in which she was single, he was like an anchor to sanity. He was like her motivation to try again for another boyfriend and another personality. She wouldn’t necessarily go insane if he weren’t a part of her life, but she knew that she’d be far more confused and insecure.
It was rather unnerving. It was undeniable that someday, Jules would have to let go of him. It’d be pitiful if she was still looking for boyfriends and depending on him when she was old enough to be considered a senior citizen. Aside from that, one day, they’d each have their own families, and they would drift apart. She hated thinking that far ahead, but it was just that she had those moments in which she’d think too far ahead. Those moments often led to untamable fears and phone calls to him that questioned whether or not Matthew honestly wanted to deal with a girl as troublesome as she. She knew that he cared, but sometimes, she just needed to hear the words coming from his lips.
Jules truly felt useless sometimes. Their relationship felt one-sided often, in which Matthew had to give while she greedily received. He was there to comfort her back to happiness whenever she was feeling down, and those moments were often. It made her wonder if she was a bad friend, seeing as she needed him far more than he needed her. The only time she felt as if she could even repay a fraction of the kindness he gave her was when he needed her for something. Memories of the abuse she’d suffered while kidnapped made her cringe with fear, but at the very least, there was one good result sprouting from the event, and that was her friendship with him.
With a bright smile, Jules remained in her position as she responded, “Matty-cake, you know I never give out warning before pouncing on people. That takes the fun out of everything!” That much was true for her. She liked to surprise people, simply because it was enjoyable for her to see the momentary looks of shock that would cross their faces.
She leaned forward for a moment, giving him a kiss on the cheek, before pulling back to get another good look at him. Kisses like those were normal for the two of them. It was possibly part of the reason why their status as friends was questioned by most, but Jules found that it was normal to do. She gave her parents kisses on the cheeks, so she couldn’t see why Matthew, who was like a brother, would be any different.
Jules spoke once again, and the tone of cheerfulness in her voice was evident, “I’ve been good. A bit bored without you, but I’m fine otherwise. How about you? Has anything happened in the two weeks since you’ve been gone?” Even if she knew that they couldn’t remain this close forever, she didn’t want him to drift away now. She wanted the moment to be far into the future, and at this moment, she wanted to hang out with him without worrying about how lonely she’d be when they were separated again.
