The morning light shone through a large bay window, overlooking the ocean as it swayed back and forth off the coast. It wasn't the most beautiful sight, as one would expect it to be. No, the man that was rising from the bed put the view to shame. He knew it, too. His toned body stretched, pushing back the expensive covers and sitting up in the king bed, rubbing his dark, captivating eyes of their sleep. He rubbed his stomach a bit, aching for a taste of whatever his little sister had cooked up, and slid out of the large king easily.
The little figure in the bed, whom he almost completely forgot about, stirred beside him as he set her things neatly on a chair. His memory kicked in, telling him he had met her at some bar the night before. She was an aspiring actress, or some stupid thing, but he really didn't care enough to think about it. She smirked at him, commenting on his god-like abilities in bed, which he already knew about. He nodded and acted humble, but in his mind he wanted her to get the hell out of his house. But he was too polite to say something to a lady, so he offered her breakfast. Thank god she declined.
He bid what's-her-face goodbye, sliding into the giant bathroom before she stopped for more idle chit-chat. It was morning, he did not want to deal with such bullshit right now. Besides, he had places to be and work to be done. A quick shower later, he was out and dressed in a fine grey suit, prepping himself vainly in the mirror. Nothing was out of place about the man, he always looked like a million bucks wherever her went. Then again, he was worth more than that, so why shouldn't he look it?
Carmena was out in the kitchen by the time he'd surfaced from his morning routine, fluttering about and preparing him a plate with an omlette. She was going out today, apparently. Knowing her, 'going out' meant to hide somewhere alone. She worried him, more than she knew. She was always so sad, so lonely yet she acted so strong. It was something he admired about her, but also something he wished he could fix. He couldn't imagine being in her position, but he also had his issues. The only time they ever really seeped through was when he was angry, though. That's when shit really got ugly.
After breakfast and the morning chat with his little sister, he was out the door and in a Bentley, one of the numerous cars he'd purchased. He couldn't imagine being poor, or without his many toys and luxuries. He was thankful to be in the position he was in; having the ability to whisk a woman away without a moment's notice, buy anything he or his family desired. There was nothing more he liked than spoiling women, and he had more money than Oprah to do it with.
The mall is where he'd ended up, for some reason. Something had drawn him to this place, and when he entered the food court he knew why. There was a woman there, and he couldn't take his eyes off her. God, was she gorgeous. He couldn't resist approaching her, sitting down without even asking. He knew she wouldn't refuse him. A cocky grin had placed itself on his face, removing his expensive sunglasses from his eyes and giving her a charming, confident gaze. She would be easy to win over.
"Principessa, a woman like you should not be alone on such a beautiful day," He said in his smooth Italian accent, then winked, "However, you put such a day to shame with your looks." Oh, here came the lines. Those swoon-worthy quips that sounded like they came straight from a romance novel. It was how Armani was, though he'd never admit he was a true romantic. He would pull all the stops he could to get what he wanted, and, make no mistake, he always got it.
